Description of Services
The U2NL Youth Center will provide social and recreational services intended for youth age 6-12 in a handicap assessable facility. The facility will be designed to house the following activities:
- Early Birds Program (members will access to services beginning at 6:30 am)
- Let’s Dance (Open space for members to learn all forms of dance)
- On Your Mark Get Set Go Fitness Club (Physical fitness activities such as yoga, aerobic/calisthenics, Zumba, boot camp,).
- Kicking it in Karate School – Teaching members the physical and mental discipline of martial arts
- The Winners Circle Game Room (Technology and Board Games)
- Tech KnowledGe lab (Members will have the opportunity to use technology for learning and creative activities)
- Book Worm Club (Reading, writing and poetry clubs)
- Art Is Room (Arts and Crafts activities)
- Lab Coats Science Room
- The Filling Station Nutrition Nook Center ( a small cooking/kitchen are , plus kitchen supply room, where students will get the opportunity to learn the benefits of nutrition plus access to lunch and snacks).
- Etiquette and Leadership Clubs (Young Men Rising and Emerging Young Ladies)
- Student Have Opinions (SHO) youth video/documentary club
